Natasha’s on the move and Lynda has a surprise visitor.

Lynda finds Hazel wandering the grounds of Ambridge Hall. They chat, with Hazel reminiscing about her childhood days there. She comments this is the only place she’s ever felt she really belongs. Lynda reminds her of the last time she visited, when they were at loggerheads over Hazel’s plans to turn the shop into flats. Hazel admits she hadn’t appreciated what the shop meant to people and the importance of community. They discuss Lynda’s MBE, and the vagaries of the Christmas production. Hazel declares she’ll be sad to miss it, but she’ll return for a longer stay in the New Year.
Tom tells Tony that Natasha’s considering a unit at Sawyer’s Farm for her Summer Orchard move. Tony’s disappointed, but Tom reckons it’s the best option after the row over the Tearoom location. They discuss Christmas gifts for customers, and decide to ask Johnny to take a photo for the Bridge Farm Christmas card. Meanwhile Natasha’s with Pat. They agree to disagree on the suitability of the old orchard as a location, with Natasha assuring Pat she won’t be far away at Sawyer’s. Natasha’s parting shot is to ask Pat to tell Fallon the offer of a rent reduction is cancelled. Pat relays this to Tony, and the fact Natasha didn’t offer any apologies. All they can do is wait for the dust to settle.
At Sawyer’s, Natasha and Tom agree the unit is perfect in every way. Tom gets a text from Hazel. She wants to visit them tomorrow. Tom’s on his guard; he declares the woman is a tyrant.
