Julie Fowlis presents highlights from two decades of the legendary music show Transatlantic Sessions. This episode has musical stars from the UK, Ireland and the US, including Ricky Skaggs, Alison Krauss, Eddi Reader, Bela Fleck, Donald Shaw and Sharon White, bringing both sides of the Atlantic closer together.

On “Belfast to Boston”, superstar James Taylor is joined by the sublime voices of Julie Fowlis, Karen Matheson and James Graham. Grammy winner Alison Krauss is joined by Aly Bain and Nollaig Casey for “Lonesome Moonlight Waltz”. Closing this programme, top piper Alan MacDonald is accompanied by Jerry Douglas and Russ Barenberg in performing “Jewels of The Ocean”.
