Jamie has music from some of this year’s shortlisted composers at the prestigious Ivor Composer Awards and talks to nominee Cheryl Frances-Hoad about her piece, inspired by the Essex woman who made spy radios at the Marconi Factory during WWII. Scottish star soprano Lorna Anderson brings us treasure from the beach in another Scots Song feature. Plus Jamie’s Album Of The Week is filled with uplifting choral music by the Russian composer Aleksandr Grechaninov.
