The Love Song and Jools Holland

Jools Holland - celebrated musician, bandleader and TV Host - picks the Tracks of My Years. Ken has another round of PopMaster plus your daily love song dedications.

Jools Holland - celebrated musician, bandleader and TV Host - picks the Tracks of My Years all week with Ken. Earlier this month London-born Jools released his brand new album 'Pianola, Piano & Friends' - a loving tribute to the black and white keys that have become synonymous with his hugely popular performances. Jools invited many of his friends, from musical legends and jazz greats to the next generation's stars, to contribute and showcase the versatility of the piano. At the core of the album is the pianola once owned by his grandmother Rosie - a sturdy stand-up that survived the blitz and entertained guests in her front room sparking off Jools' life-long love of music.

Two musical titans make an appearance on the album - Tom Jones and David Gilmour - plus Mercury Prize nominee Moses Boyd alongside YolanDA Brown, piano maestro Lang Lang and Gregory Porter. Other collaborators include Ruby Turner, Jamie Cullum, Joe Bonamassa, Rick Wakeman and certified legend Herbie Hancock.

Jools is currently on a 33 night UK-wide tour joined by his Rhythm & Blues Orchestra, celebrating their 25th anniversary together. Guests include his good friend Ruby Turner, Lulu, Jools' Squeeze bandmate Chris Difford and Vic Reeves.

Jools' Βι¶ΉΤΌΕΔ Two show 'Later...with Jools Holland' has been running since 1992 and is now considered an institution, having notched up millions of fans around the world. The most recent series included interviews with stars such as Ed Sheeran, Elton John, KT Tunstall and Dave Grohl.

The next two tracks Jools has chosen come from Stevie Wonder and Aretha Franklin. Ken also has the daily love song, record and album of the week plus PopMaster. If you'd like to get in touch with the show email Ken.Bruce@bbc.co.uk
