Lynda has a tall order for Kirsty while Fallon is left reeling.

Roy and Kirsty are still on bad terms when Lynda asks them to work together at a rehearsal. Roy tries to get Lynda to ease up on Kirsty, quietly pointing out that she has a lot on at the moment. Lynda then announces that she would like Kirsty to take on the role of God. Kirsty refuses, and feeling overwhelmed with tasks, she storms off.
Roy explains Lynda’s commanding air of authority was probably too much for Kirsty. He cleverly remarks Lynda’s natural ability to lead makes her the perfect candidate to play God; in fact most of the cast think so too. Lynda accepts if there’s a public demand for her to have the role then she must take it on. Kirsty returns and apologises. Delighted Lynda tells her not to worry; their problem is solved. Roy explains to Kirsty how he’s convinced Lynda to be God. Kirsty’s grateful and the pair make up. Roy’s not sure the rest of the cast will feel the same.
Natasha calls at the Tearoom to tell Fallon about the plan to move Summer Orchard. She struggles to find the right moment with chatty Fallon, but finally breaks the news. Fallon isn’t happy. Natasha’s plan will negatively impact Tearoom trade after an already tough eighteen months. Natasha points out Fallon isn’t the only one struggling with the impact of Covid. With Fallon not backing down, Natasha offers a rent reduction while Summer Orchard’s new base is being built. She can’t see Pat or Tony having a problem with that.
