Rex faces his future, and Kirsty discovers a shocking plot.

Harrison’s surprised when Blake arrives at the Tearoom. He’s desperate to know if he can visit Philip. Harrison wants Blake to speak to a specialist officer, but he only trusts Harrison. Later, Kirsty finds Blake resting in the hide, and is shocked to discover he walked there from Borchester. She can’t believe that Harrison is apparently helping Blake visit Philip in prison. She confronts Harrison. Harrison hopes to dissuade Blake from visiting. But Blake’s evidence could give them the breakthrough they need. Right now he’s determined to visit Philip anyway. Maybe it’s worth the risk?
Rex is missing Bert already. But he also admits to Kirsty that he’s worrying about how long he’ll be able to stay at The Bungalow. She’s sympathetic, but also encourages him to embrace the opportunity to make a change. Pip tries to reassure Rex that he’ll get first refusal if the Brookfield bungalow is rented out, but Rex is sure he couldn’t afford it. Toby spots an opportunity – he and Pip reckon Rosie would cope with him moving out. They’d all be happier for it. But Rex angrily rejects his offer to move back to the bungalow and split the rent. Rex quickly apologises. Toby might be a pain, but he’s also good fun. The problem is, Rex doesn’t want his life to go backwards. He’s ready for a change.
