Climate Change and the Arts

Janice is joined by a comedian, a designer and a musician to discuss how the arts and entertainment world can respond to climate change.

Kim Winston joins Janice with all the backstage gossip from one of the biggest nights in the Strictly Come Dancing calendar, the Hallowe'en special.

And as COP26 gets underway in Glasgow, Janice asks how the arts and entertainment worlds can respond to climate change, with environmental economist by day and stand-up comedian by night, Dr Matt Winning; ex Savages drummer and founder of Music Declares Emergency Fay Wilton, and designer Graham Hogg from Glasgow project After the Pandemic.

Anna Welander hears about Mermaid’s Tears, an exhibition at Edinburgh’s Dovecot Gallery highlighting marine plastic pollution.

Plus, Janice hears about Black Black Oil, a documentary being screened on ΒιΆΉΤΌΕΔ Scotland this week, and ΒιΆΉΤΌΕΔ Scotland Arts Correspondent Pauline McLean gives her first impressions of the cultural events surrounding COP26.
