Mark Radcliffe and Stuart Maconie present a feast of great music and chat for weekend breakfast.

Today they are joined by award-winning comedian, actor, writer and director Stephen Merchant. Famed for his work with Ricky Gervais as co-writer and co-director of the landmark British comedy series The Office, Stephen鈥檚 career also includes a host of film and TV roles, radio presenting and stand-up comedy. He joins Mark and Stuart to talk about writing, directing and starring in new comedy drama TV series 鈥楾he Offenders.鈥� Also starring Oscar-winning actor Christopher Walken in his first lead British television role, the series follows seven strangers from different walks of life forced together to complete a Community Payback sentence in Bristol.

Also on the show鈥� long-running feature 鈥楾he Chain鈥�, which gives listeners the chance to pick a track that links in some way to the last. The list now contains over 8000 songs.
