A service on Bible Sunday led by the Rev'd Dr Robert Beamish, Minister of Prince鈥檚 Drive Baptist Church and Chaplain to Rydal Penrhos School in Colwyn Bay.

The evening edition of the programme includes My Favourite Hymn.

On this Bible Sunday we celebrate a book that has had a profound influence on millions of people down the centuries; its words (for example the psalms) have been a source both of guidance in times of trouble and joy. It's been translated into many languages, and there are many different versions including ones for children. In this service Rob Beamish argues for its life-giving power. It also happens to be World Tripe Day which Rob says is "clear encouragement to take account of all parts of scripture, even those we might find initially harder to digest."

Hymns and songs include "God has spoken through his prophets", Purcell's "Thy word is a lantern unto my feet", "Every promise" and "Thou whose almighty word". Bible readings are from Psalm 119 from verse 97, and the Gospel according to Luke chapter 4.
