Sam Fender plays a Sofa Session for Jo, including music from his new album Seventeen Going Under, which is out October 8th.

Seventeen Going Under is about Sam’s adolescence and the trials and tribulations of growing up. It was recorded in North Shields.

Sam says: β€œThe whole record is about growing up and the self-esteem issues that you carry into your adult life, this song in particular is about how insecurity has affected my relationships. Definitely one of the more personal ones.”
