Johnnie marks 30 years of Nirvana's 'Nevermind'
To help the Βι¶ΉΤΌΕΔ celebrate 30 years since the release of Nirvana's 'Nevermind', Skin from Skunk Anansie explains why frontman Kurt Cobain is her Rock God.
In the autumn of 1991, rock n' roll was on the turn. The end of the 1980's had brought a revolution in dance music. Now, where guitars were concerned, a burgeoning scene of bands from Seattle threatened to blow up the very foundations of what we all thought we knew about 'rock'.
In September of that year, Nirvana released their second album, 'Nevermind' and it soon became clear this was to become a soundtrack for a generation. Tonight, Johnnie highlights the importance of the album with a dip into the Βι¶ΉΤΌΕΔ Archives for 'This Week In Rock' and Skin from Skunk Anansie explains why frontman Kurt Cobain is her Rock God.
