Trad music show presented by Julie Fowlis. Ceòl aig Baile brings old and new musical friends together to create music and perform intimate concerts at venues in hot-spot areas for traditional music around Scotland.
Filmed at Achnagairn Estate, this programme features music collaborations by some of the best traditional musicians with connections to Inverness-shire, including performances of local fiddle music by Duncan Chisholm, Lauren MacColl, Adam Sutherland and Bruce MacGregor. There are also family connections as Eilidh Mackenzie is joined by her musical family for a selection of Gaelic songs. From Norway, Sarah-Jane Summers is joined by Juhani Silvola for a blend of Highland and Scandinavian music.
