Sir Harry Secombe reads his own tale about the goings-on in a remote Welsh mining village.

These are the adventures of Dai Fargo who drives the only bus connecting sleepy Panteg to Swansea. The dilapidated vehicle may need constant mechanical intervention, but it’s the locals’ lifeline.

Dai has become inadvertently involved in the most audacious crime that the sleepy village has every witnessed.

First published in 1981, Sir Harry’s satirical novel reflects his association with The Goon Show’s Spike Milligan, Peter Sellers, Michael Bentine and Eric Sykes.
