14/09/21 Driver shortages: farmers told to dump milk; seed potato research; dressage horse breeding
Throwing fresh milk away because of driver shortages - what are the longer term impacts on the dairy industry?
Dairy farmers have been forced to throw fresh milk down the drain, due to a shortage of haulage drivers used by dairy companies. We ask what impact will this have on the dairy industry longer term.
We hear how research is underway to tackle disease in seed potatoes, and visit a breeding centre for dressage horses.
Presented by Anna Hill and produced by Beatrice Fenton.
