Chris lends an ear to a friend in need and Eddie hatches a cunning plan.

Chris catches up with Amy. They chat about Alice, and Martha, before Amy goes on to talk about her work and shares some of the difficult experiences she’s dealt with over the last year and a half. She’s getting good support but it’s been tough. Chris offers a listening ear any time she needs it.

Eddie’s feeling down despite the imminent arrival of the turkey poults. It would have been Joe’s one hundredth birthday in a couple of weeks. Oliver’s sympathetic and suggests celebrating with the Cider Club but that doesn’t feel right for Eddie. Later a buoyed Eddie has an idea – he intends for the Grundys to lift the Freda Fry Cup for Best in Show at this year’s Flower and Produce Show, in honour of Joe’s memory. All he has to do now is persuade the regular top flyers not to enter.
Â鶹ԼÅÄ Farm is preparing to sell their breeding flock. Brian’s happy it’s the right time to get rid of the sheep. As he plans to do more drilling irritated Jennifer can’t wait for Stella to start. Then Brian can properly retire. Brian’s feeling the first glimmer of hope with Alice starting the counselling phase of her rehab. He also fills Jennifer in on the news that Ruairi will be moving into his halls of residence in London soon. But their focus should be firmly on Alice’s return next week. Jennifer admits to dreading it. She hopes Alice has moved forward.
