It’s Steph Casey’s wedding day at Brookfield barn and Ruth’s exhausted from dealing with all of her demands. Ruth tells Elizabeth how stressed David’s been about it all – he’s driven her mad!
Vince is anxious about seeing his daughter Beth for the first time since falling out over her boyfriend – he doesn’t want to end up arguing and ruining Steph’s day. Vince and Steph are choked up when she thanks him for the best day of her life; they’re lucky to have each other. When Vince wonders where Beth’s boyfriend is, Steph says they’ve split up.

Beth and Elizabeth meet and Beth wonders whether Elizabeth might be feeling a bit awkward with all three of Vince’s wives there. But Elizabeth says it’s fine, they’re all adults and she has no plans to be Vince’s fourth wife. When she confides that Vince feels terrible about falling out with her, Beth admits she was pretty horrible to him and wouldn’t blame him if he never wanted to speak to her again. Elizabeth manages to get them together, and after some initial awkwardness Vince apologises; he’s really glad to see Beth. Beth tells him he was right about boyfriend Nathan – he’s a total loser. Vince says he’s really fallen on his feet with Elizabeth and Beth should come for tea with them. Despite some reluctance from Beth, Elizabeth ends up dragging her and Vince on to the floor as they all dance to Vince’s favourite song.
