Today, as part of 6 Music’s 80’s All Day Rave, Mark and Stuart celebrate the sound of legendary New York club Paradise Garage, with an uplifting mix of disco, electro and dance bangers.

The influential Manhattan venue ran from 1977 to 1987 and was hugely significant in the development of house music and club culture. Resident DJ Larry Levan, a pivotal figure in dance history, inspired many DJ’s that followed with his eclectic mixes and music production. Mark and Stuart spin a selection of tracks to bring a little bit of Paradise to Saturday morning, including music from the likes of Gwen Guthrie, Loose Joints and Sylvester.
