Retail, Recycling, Flight Refunds

Retail reflections on the last year and the launch of the High Street vouchers, flight refunds, recycling, menopause in the workplace and consumer guru Jimmy Hughes is live.

Linda is joined by consumer guru Jimmy Hughes and Aodhán Connolly of the Northern Ireland Retail Consortium, who previews the launch of the new £100 retail voucher, and how you go about getting one. Aodhán also reflects on the retail industry in the last year, looking ahead to Christmas, while Jimmy gives his advice on Travel Insurance, and hears that getting a refund from Aer Lingus hasn’t been smooth skies for everyone.

Plus, Linda speaks with Helen Smith of the Labour Relations Agency and Clare Moore of the Irish Congress of Trade Unions, on the recently issued guidance to employers’ on managing menopausal symptoms in the workplace.

Also Rory O'Boyle, spokesperson for DEARA, discusses the recent carrier bag levy consultation, and the steps they are taking to ensure plastic in NI is recycled properly, and Linda also hears from one supermarket manager who was honoured in the Queen’s Birthday Honours list for how he handled the Covid stock shortage.
