Over breakfast Elizabeth and Vince update Freddie on their holiday plans. Their booking has had to be cancelled so they鈥檙e having a staycation at Lower Loxley instead. Elizabeth asks Freddie to look again at the plumbing, the pipes in her room were groaning all night. Meanwhile, after a work party Lily wakes up in the bed of her colleague Sol. They chat playfully until Lily is reminded of her commitment this week to cover to Elizabeth while she鈥檚 on holiday with Vince. Twitchy on her arrival home, Lily doesn鈥檛 hear her mum explain their change of plans.
Freddie complains to Russ that his plans for the week have been thwarted by Elizabeth and Vince staying put. Meanwhile, Russ opens his post to find his decree absolute is through. He asks Freddie to keep it to himself as he wants to be the one who tells Lily. Later, sheepish Lily catches up with joyful Russ. Lily asks if they can chat later. Russ enthusiastically agrees, he鈥檚 keen to hear all about her work party.
Vince fancies a photo of himself on board Cranford Crystal. Freddie helps him up but Vince strains himself while mounting. Wincing in pain he demands Freddie takes the photo quickly. His dismount is even more disastrous and he discovers that Freddie took a video rather than a photo which he demands is deleted.
