Curlew Hatching, Seamus Heaney and Major Nugent

We’re back to the Antrim Hills where curlew chicks are ready to hatch. Bellaghy welcomes a new outdoor visitor experience. And the life of Major Nugent is now recorded in a book.

We return to the Antrim Hills where the RSPB tell us curlew chicks are ready to hatch. Will their camera catch the moment? In Bellaghy, a new outdoor visitor experience brings Seamus Heaney’s literature into the South Derry landscape. And the life and times of military man Major Oliver Nugent, the Irishman who led the Ulster Division in the Great War, are now recorded in a book.

Also, Fermanagh and Omagh District Council are seeking Centenarians to assist with a project to mark the centenary of Northern Ireland; and a historic house in County Down with colourful history is open to the public.

Presented by Anne Marie McAleese.
