Jade Thirlwall, one third of the hugely successful girl group Little Mix, chooses the Tracks of My Years.

Jade was born and raised in Newcastle and is partially Egyptian and Yemeni from her mother's side. She first auditioned on the X Factor in 2008, but got no further than boot camp. She returned in 2011 performing 'I Want to Hold Your Hand' by The Beatles and was put in a group named Orion with Leigh-Anne Pinnock. They were later joined by Perrie Edwards and Jesy Nelson to form the four-piece group Rhythmix and eventually won the entire competition. Soon afterwards they renamed themselves Little Mix and the global pop superstars were born. In their decade together they've released six albums, won three BRIT Awards and sold 60 million records making them one of the best selling girl groups of all time. At last month's BRIT Awards they were named Best British Group becoming the first girl group in history to achieve this accolade.

The band's latest single ‘Confetti’ - the title track to their sixth album - is their first as a three-piece following Jesy's departure last year and so far has had track sales of over 4.5 million. In April next year the band go back on the road again with their long awaited Confetti Tour taking in arenas across the UK and Ireland. Both Leigh-Anne and Perrie recently announced their pregnancies within a few days of each other.

The next two tracks Jade has chosen come from Dizzee Rascal and Mumford & Sons. Scott also has the daily love song, record and album of the week plus another round of PopMaster. If you'd like to get in touch email Scott.Mills@bbc.co.uk.
