Stand-up comedian Twayna Mayne explores stereotypes attached to black women – especially β€œthe angry black woman” trope. Chef and broadcaster Andi Oliver adds her perspective.

Comedian Twayna Mayne, born to Jamaican parents and raised by a white parent, explores the subject of racial stereotyping and how it has an effect on identity from childhood onwards. Performing at the Radio Theatre with a virtual audience, Twayna also hears from chef and broadcaster Andi Oliver. Series 1 was awarded Best Comedy at the ΒιΆΉΤΌΕΔ Radio and Music Awards 2020.
