PopMaster and Adam Duritz

Adam Duritz, lead singer of Counting Crows, picks the Tracks of My Years. There's the daily love song and another round of the legendary music quiz PopMaster.

Adam Duritz, lead singer of US rock band Counting Crows, chooses the Tracks of My Years. The band first found fame in 1993 with their multi-platinum breakout album, 'August and Everything After' and has gone on to release seven studio albums, selling more than 20 million records worldwide. In 2004 they recorded the chart-topping 'Accidentally in Love' for the animated motion picture Shrek 2. The instant success of the track earned them an Academy Award nomination for Best Original Song at the 2005 Academy Awards, a Golden Globe nomination for Best Original Song and a Grammy Award nomination for Best Song Written for a Motion Picture, Television or Other Visual Media.

Seven years since Counting Crows last album, Adam and the band are returning with 'Butter Miracle, Suite One', which is due out later this month'. The first single 'Elevator Boots' is in praise of life on tour and the cleansing power of rock and roll.

Ken also has the daily love song, record and album of the week plus PopMaster. If you'd like to get in touch with the show email Ken.Bruce@bbc.co.uk
