Johnnie’s back with another great Seventies playlist filled with classics and forgotten gems.

He’s also chatting with musician Paul Carrack, who's having his 70th birthday this week.

Paul’s been referred to as The Man With The Golden Voice, and he’s been a presence on the chart for the past five decades, beginning with the band Ace on their worldwide smash ‘How Long’, before then performing on huge hits in the ‘80s and ‘90s with Mike & The Mechanics and others. He’s working in a new album for release this June, but is taking some time out to look back over his career in the Seventies and pick a couple of his favourite songs from other musical heroes.

It’s a special occasion as we mark the 400th entry into Johnnie’s Jukebox, and it’s one of the best-loved songs of all-time.

There are more birthdays and events in the spotlight from 'This Week In Music' including a Geordie legend, one of the greatest musical superstars of stage and screen, and the so-called Godfather Of Punk.

We welcome two new features to the show - ‘One Of A Kind’, celebrates the unique, quirky hits from innovators and one hit wonders that peppered the chart in the ‘70s. And ‘In Concert’ will round off the show with a double superstar bill of great live recordings.
