Ben has romance in mind and Lynda goes into battle.
Ben has spruced up the caravan ready for his date with Evie but Ruairi winds him by saying he’s also got a date tonight and it’s his turn to use the place. Ruairi eventually cracks up laughing and Ben’s relieved. Ruairi gives Ben an audio message on a memory stick for his time capsule. Ben’s inspired to do the same. Where will they be in ten years, they wonder? Ruairi wants to be a hot-shot financier but Ben’s focus is on Evie and having kids. But for now, he admits, he’s not enjoying uni. Later he calls Ruairi to tell him about his disaster date; when he and Evie got to the caravan, they found Jill and Leonard snuggled up there!
Lynda is determined to derail Darrington’s production and despite Kirsty’s reasoning, she goes to meet rival director, Evangeline Lowminster. During an icy confrontation, Lynda seems to unseat Evangeline by asking if she has obtained the necessary rights to use the author’s script in a public production? Evangeline then reveals that she is actually the script’s author; Colin Whitstable is her pen name! Back with Kirsty, Lynda is cagey about what really happened but announces she is pulling their own production. Kirsty’s stunned but her real focus is on the court hearing; tomorrow Gavin and Philip will get their sentences.
