Richard Curtis and Emma Freud choose their final Tracks Of My Years
On Red Nose Day, Richard Curtis and Emma Freud choose their last two Tracks Of My Years. Plus there's the week's final PopMaster and the last play of the Record Of The Week.
On Red Nose Day, Comic Relief's Richard Curtis and Emma Freud choose the Tracks Of My Years ahead of Red Nose Day today. This year, Comic Relief hopes to bring the UK together (although we may be apart) through laughter and helping others, showing just how powerful humour can be through the toughest of times.
For 35 years, Comic Relief has shown how laughter can make a difference, raising over Β£1.4bn to help change millions of lives, all thanks to the enormous generosity and kindness of the British public. This year's highlights on Red Nose Day include a brand-new format hosted by Alesha Dixon, David Tennant, Davina McCall, Paddy McGuiness and Sir Lenny Henry; Dawn French reviving her much-loved Vicar of Dibley character and David Tennant and Michael Sheen joining forces once again for a special instalment of the lockdown comedy Staged.
Richard co-founded of Comic Relief with Jane Tewson in 1986 after a trip to Ethiopia during the famine. The first Red Nose Day followed in 1988, and since then Richard has produced all 17 of the shows as well as being Vice-Chair of the charity. Richard also help set up Red Nose Day USA in 2015. Emma has been working with Comic Relief for over 30 years, having started off stuffing envelopes there in 1990, and she is now a Producer and Honorary Trustee.
The last two tracks Richard and Emma have chosen come from David Cassidy and The Beatles. Plus Ken's got another round of the legendary PopMaster music quiz and your dedications with today's love song. There's also the record and album of the week.
