Tim Edey joins Bruce with a new album, I Got Rhythm, plus Dr Lori Watson, Davie Donaldson and Quinie discuss the rich musical heritage of Scottish Travellers.
Recorded in one take in his small living room in Perthshire, Tim Edey joins Bruce with a 13 track instrumental album packed full of his favourite pieces of well known popular melodies. The album features everything from Norah Jones to Stevie Wonder to French musette, Django Reindhart to Bee Gees to Danny boy & fast tunes to Classical & back again! All given the "Edey" treatment!
Bruce explores the rich musical heritage of Scottish Travellers in the second hour. He's joined in conversation by Lecturer in Scottish Ethnology, Dr Lori Watson, Scottish Traveller Advocate & Social Justice Campaigner, Davie Donaldson and singer Josie Valley, also known as Quinie.
