Berlin 1894 - aspiring author Andrew Zumsee must make a name for himself - whatever it takes. Stars John Kielty and James Bryce.

Heinrich Mann's novel was first published in 1900.

Originally titled "In The Land of Cockaigne", this is the story of the rise and fall of Andrew Zumsee, an innocent but self-confident young poet from the provinces, as he attempts to make a name for himself in Berlin society.

Starring John Kielty.

Dramatised in two parts by Patricia Hannah.
