Ep 485 - Tom Ravenscroft sits in ...with a St David's Day Goldsoundz special
As today is the Feast of Saint David, the patron saint of Wales we've got a special Welsh artists Goldsoundz to kick off the programme & Matt Everitt joins with the Music News
It鈥檚 the start of the week and Tom has a brand new Liked and Shared track to kick off the week. Essentially it鈥檚 a rebrand of the Single of the Week (鈥淭hey鈥檝e re-badged it you fool鈥�) and we鈥檒l give it the first play today. This week it's the new track from Ohtis featuring Stef Chura called Schatze. Ohtis are Sam Swinson, Adam Pressley & Nate Hahn originally from Normal IL, now based between Los Angeles & Detroit. They have some UK & European dates penciled for spring 2022 in support of the band's upcoming second album.
Plus, Monday sees our Music News journalist Matt Everitt joining with the latest Music News and, as today is the Feast of Saint David, the patron saint of Wales we've got a special Welsh artists playlist for Goldsoundz to kick off the programme - 30 minutes of 6 Music BANGERS!
Tom also has a track from today's Album of the Day - Francois & The Atlas Mountains 鈥� Banane Bleue and has a repeat of his mini mix from Mina. In her music production she fuses together different kinds of syncopated rhythms from around the world and has released two acclaimed EPs for Portuguese label Enchufada, and released her debut album 鈥淔light Paths鈥� in 2019 which features a diverse range of collaborators including LYZZA, Epic B & Gafacci.
