There’s an emotional goodbye for Kirsty, and Lee fears the worst.

Lee offers to take Henry to the playground obstacle course event on his own so that Helen can get her work finished. At the playground, Emma asks Lee if he and Henry will be entering the final challenge. But when Lee looks for Henry he can’t find him and quickly panics. Emma tries to keep Lee calm and after a while Henry returns with George and some friends.
Helen tries to reassure Lee about not being able to find Henry earlier. Once Henry had returned Lee had bought him an ice-cream – a novel approach to discipline laughs Helen. But Lee remains serious. He wants to have a proper talk about how each of them interacts with the other’s children.
Kirsty visits Gavin in prison. She stops him when he starts to talk about not wanting her to get hurt. She just wants information on what happened to the lads. Gavin assures her he’s told the police everything he knows. He describes their meeting with Victoria and reveals that after he left Beechwood he slept rough over Christmas. He wants Kirsty to know that it’s changed him. He understands the desperation of people like Blake, Jordan and Kenzie. Kirsty appreciates his honesty and offers to visit him again. Gavin plans to keep his head down and be a better man by the time he’s released. Kirsty believes him, which means the world to him.
