Sir Paul McCartney chats to Zoe about his brand new album McCartney III. This is Paul’s 18th solo stadium album and it follows 2018’s Egypt Station and has been made in what he is calling β€˜Rockdown’. 2020 marks 50 years since Paul released his self-titled first solo album. Paul hadn’t planned to release an album in 2020, but in the isolation of 'Rockdown', he soon found himself fleshing out some existing musical sketches andβ€―creating even more new ones. Before long an eclectic collection of spontaneous songs β€―would becomeβ€―McCartney III:β€―a stripped back, self-produced and, quiteβ€―literally, solo work marking the opening of a new decade, in the tradition of 1970’sβ€―McCartneyβ€―and 1980’s β€―McCartney II. Paul has sold over 100 million solo singles and over 700 million albums, generating over 1 billion worldwide record sales whilst winning over 70 major global awards - including 18 Grammys and 8 BRIT Awards.

Plus Miranda Hart tells Zoe about her Christmas Eve show on ΒιΆΉΤΌΕΔ One - Miranda’s Games With Showbiz Names. Three celebrity couples will join Miranda from the comfort of their own homes for a virtual raucous night in of festive games and challenges. The celebrities are Strictly Come Dancing’s Head Judge Shirley Ballas and her partner Danny Taylor, football pundit and presenter Jermaine Jenas and his wife Ellie, along with singer-songwriter and entertainer Robbie Williams and his drummer Karl Brazil.

Gary Oldman, the Oscar winning actor, chats to Zoe about his new Netflix film MANK where he plays Herman Mankiewicz, a veteran studio screenwriter who worked on everything from Marx Brothers comedies to The Wizard of Oz. Gary grew up in London, and after studying theatre in college, spent his twenties treading the boards on the West End. He was introduced to the wider world in 1986, in his first lead role in a film, as the punk icon Sid Vicious in Sid & Nancy. He's also starred as Sirius Black in the Harry Potter movies, Commissioner Gordon in The Dark Knight series and won an Oscar for playing Winston Churchill in The Darkest Hour.

Along with Tina Daheley on news, Richie Anderson on travel and Mike Williams on sport, she and the team have the best start to your morning. With celeb guests, quizzes, headlines, tunes chosen by listeners, and more music that you can shake a glitterball at!
