Champions League PopMaster and Shirley Ballas

Champions League PopMaster 2020 begins and Shirley Ballas, ΒιΆΉΤΌΕΔ Strictly's head judge, picks the Tracks of My Years in an interview first aired in 2018.

Champions League PopMaster 2020 begins! Fourteen contestants who scored full marks - or 36 plus the 3 in 10 - are put to the ultimate test in the ultimate quiz of quizzes. Questions are harder and the question master is tougher as this year's elite battle it out for that coveted trophy, with the grand final on Christmas Eve.

Shirley Ballas, head judge of ΒιΆΉΤΌΕΔ's Strictly Come Dancing, picks the Tracks of My Years in an interview first aired in 2018. Shirley joined the panel in 2017 after the departure of Len Goodman and will be at the helm on Saturday for this year's final joined by fellow judges Craig Revel Horwood and Motsi Mobuse. Veteran panellist Bruno Tonioli has only been able to put in the occasional appearance from Los Angeles due to the coronavirus pandemic.

Dubbed 'The Queen of Latin', Shirley hails from Merseyside and has been dancing since the age of 7. She has been crowned US Latin American Champion and British National Champion on numerous occasions. By 21 she had won nearly every major title she competed in worldwide. She is the only person to have ever won the British Open to the World Latin American Championships in Blackpool with two different partners and reached the finals an impressive 17 times.

Earlier this year she published her autobiography 'Behind The Sequins: My Life' leading us through her dramatic and determined life, from growing up on a rough estate and leaving home at 14 years old to conquer the high octane world of ballroom dancing.

The next two tracks Shirley has chosen are from The Carpenters and Johnny Cash. Ken also has the daily love song and another round of the legendary music quiz PopMaster. If you'd like to get in touch with the show email Ken.Bruce@bbc.co.uk
