Created in partnership with Βι¶ΉΤΌΕΔ Cymru Wales, National Theatre Wales and Βι¶ΉΤΌΕΔ Writers Room Wales, the Writer in Residence scheme aims to develop and support Welsh writing talent, and this year sees six people shortlisted. They are Brennig Hayden, Cameron Loxdale, Faebian Averies, Greg Glover, Katie Elin-Salt & Neil Williams.
The lucky writer will be offered a bespoke package of support that includes a bursary to assist their year-long role as Wales Writer in Residence, two work placements, plus the opportunity to write an original audio drama for Βι¶ΉΤΌΕΔ Radio 4.
Nicola is joined on the show by judges, Lorne Campbell (Artistic Director of National Theatre Wales), Helen Perry (Βι¶ΉΤΌΕΔ Writers Room Wales Development Producer), Jenna Robbins (Development Executive for Βι¶ΉΤΌΕΔ Studios) and previous winner, Rhiannon Boyle.
