Nicola is joined by the wonderful director and producer Stewart Kyasimire who’ll be guest editing the show between 2-3pm.

Stewart, best known for directing β€œBlack and Scottish” on ΒιΆΉΤΌΕΔ Scotland, will be taking us through his four films choices that we should be watching this month. His choices take us on a tour from the Deep South of America, through the prejudices of the 60’s and 90’s, and to a futuristic superhero sensation.

He’ll also be in charge of the music, playing us a selection of songs that are close to his heart.

Nicola is joined by Lesley-Ann Jones to talk about her new book β€œWho Killed John Lennon?” on what would have been the great mans 80th Birthday.

If you’re looking ideas for what to do with your October break, Cameron Angus MacKay has been sailing the high seas on the Forth Boat Tour to Inchcolm Island.

And we’ll be chatting to the new presenters behind ΒιΆΉΤΌΕΔ Introducing in Scotland, the brand new ΒιΆΉΤΌΕΔ Radio Scotland programme shining a light on up and coming Scottish musical talent.
