Gary Raymond and his guests cast a critical eye on what's going on in the Welsh arts scene. This month, he's joined by academic and author Dr Carrie Smith and writer, academic and critic Darren Chetty.
The panel explore a new series of short films made in collaboration with Ffilm Cymru and the BFI Network for Βι¶ΉΤΌΕΔ Wales. The Beacons series platforms new Welsh writing, directing and acting talent and has produced six short films ranging from a dark comedy about grief to a joyous animation about new relationships.
Gary and his guests also discuss the latest novel from one of Wales' most admired authors, Stevie Davies. Billed as the perfect lockdown thriller, The Party Wall uncovers how neighbourly relations can take an obsessive and disturbing turn.
And the panel take a look at the National Library of Wales' exhibition The Literary World of Paul Peter Piech. The exhibition, which has been made available online, focuses on Piech's striking linocuts of famous writers, from Katherine Mansfield to Harri Webb and Saunders Lewis.
