Angela Scanlon sits in and talks to Grayson Perry & Sam Claflin

The award-winning artist Grayson Perry talks about his travels across the US. Plus actor Sam Claflin chats about his new Netflix movie Enola Holmes - about Sherlock's little sister

Actor Sam Claflin chats about his new Netflix series Enola Holmes. And the award-winning artist and social commentator Grayson Perry talks about his very personal three-part TV travelogue documentary , a journey across the US, on a custom-built motorbike he designed especially for the journey, to explore some of the biggest cultural and political fault-lines in the country. As America gears up for a crucial presidential election, the nation seems to be growing ever more divided. So Grayson spends time with people from very different walks of life, from farmers in Wisconsin to African-American business people in Atlanta, to understand how Americans today view issues of identity, race, money and class – and what might be done to overcome the divisions in their country (and in our own). At the end of the series, Grayson makes an art-work – a map of the American culture wars which has strong implications for our own cultural and political divisions in the UK.
