Camilla Thurlow

Love Island favourite Camilla Thurlow joins Kate and Jason on how to challenge expectations and clear landmines.

Camilla Thurlow came second on TV's 'Love Island' in 2017. She joins Rev Kate Bottley and Jason Mohammad to talk about her memoir 'Not The Type', about her extraordinary life, from landmine clearance in some of the world's most dangerous and inhospitable places, to the microcosm of reality television and social media.

Camilla says she often felt alone in a world that wants to stifle multiplicity, but has been so surprised at all the different lives she's led so far and what she's learned. She talks to Kate and Jason about challenging expectations, finding the confidence to be yourself and what Camilla might surprise us with next.

Plus our Charity Champions are from the Luminary Bakery, a social enterprise in London that not only sells delicious treats, but teaches women dealing with disadvantage, from domestic abuse to homelessness, how to bake amd build a future for themselves. They have just published a cook book called' Rising Hope'.

And we launch Pause For Thought on Good Morning Sunday with Rev Rachel Mann who talks about the power of singing.
