Matt Berry, Eoin Carey and Tuesday Review
Matt Berry chats about his forthcoming album Phantom Birds and Eoin Carey discusses his new online photo project Father, which shows dads in natural domestic settings.
Gaelic singer Fiona Mackenzie is the archivist for the tiny island of Canna. She tells Janice about a new documentary about the folklorist Margaret Fay Shaw, an American photographer and filmmaker who recorded the islandβs history, and was a friend of Compton Mackenzie.
Matt Berry is best known for his comedy and acting β but heβs also an accomplished musician β Janice hears his new single and talks about his forthcoming album Phantom Birds.
Photographer Eoin Carey talks about his online photo project Father, showing fathers with their children in natural, domestic settings and aiming to capture the intimacy, stress, fun and poetry of parenthood.
And in Tuesday Review; Jemma Neville, Dan Richards and Catherine Simpson review Sky drama Prodigal Son (Michael Sheen stars as an incarcerated serial killer, whose police officer son turns to his father to help solve a series of murders, whilst worrying he too might be a sociopath), the new album from Jarv Is (Jarvis Cockerβs current band) Beyond The Pale, and the film based on Caitlin Moranβs bestselling memoir How To Build A Girl.
