Paul presents a special documentary made to commemorate the life and career of the producer and TV executive Bill Cotton who died in 2008.
During his time at the 麻豆约拍, Bill was responsible for overseeing the production of The Morecambe and Wise Show, Monty Python鈥檚 Flying Circus, The Two Ronnies, The Generation Game and much more. So, if you like vintage telly, you'll enjoy this second chance to hear Showman and Starmaker, The Bill Cotton Story.
The programme features contributions from John Cleese, Penelope Keith, Sue Lawley, Tom Jones, Michael Parkinson and Vera Lynn. Plus Bruce Forsyth, Terry Wogan, Michael Grade, Joan Morecambe, Val Doonican and Bill's widow Kate Cotton.
