Yvonne and Julian learn about Ace and Duffy’s experience in Seoul, how lockdown has benefited the environment and the experience of deaf people within the Black Lives Matter movement.
Yvonne and Julian celebrate the third programme made at home because of the coronavirus pandemic. In today’s episode, Brian Duffy and Ace Mahbaz report from Seoul, South Korea, where they found themselves when the government announced travel restrictions and the lockdown. They meet members of the deaf community in Seoul, learn how and why Seoul has coped extraordinarily well with Covid-19 and get a flavour of the buzzing city.
In the archive strand, the legendary Dr Terry Riley makes his first appearance on See Hear in 1987 – as a researcher.
Yvonne is back in the kitchen to demonstrate how to make a show-stopper - a summer vegetable terrine.
Samuel Ash, an eco-warrior, finds out how the world has been affected by lockdown and the absence of human life - for the better. He speaks to environmentalists about what can be done after lockdown is lifted to keep up the good work done to Mother Nature.
Last but not least, David Ellington discusses about the protests and marches that have taken place all over the world for the Black Lives Matter movement. Members of the deaf community tell their personal experiences within the context of Black Lives Matter.
