Melanie C and Kylie Minogue
Melanie C performs live as part of Radio 2 House Music and Kylie Minogue chooses the Tracks of My Years from an interview first broadcast in 2018.
Melanie C, Spice Girl, singer songwriter and TV personality, performs live with the ΒιΆΉΤΌΕΔ Concert Orchestra as part of Radio 2 House Music. She'll be performing her new single "Blame It On Me", released in May and premiered on the Zoe Ball Breakfast Show plus her 2000 chart topper "Turn To You". Previous sessions include singing superstar Barry Manilow live from his home in Palm Springs, Nell Bryden from New York, Richard Marx from Malibu, Kelly Clarkson from Montana and Jason Mraz from San Diego.
Kylie Minogue, the Brit, ARIA & Grammy Award-winning popstar who's had a number one album in four decades, picks the Tracks of My Years in an interview first broadcast in 2018. It was at the time she released "Golden" her fourteenth studio album where a large portion of the record was recorded in Nashville, Tennessee, and where she found new inspiration with its music as well as recording some material in London and Los Angeles. The album debuted at number one in the UK Albums Chart and spawned the singles "Stop Me From Falling" and "Dancing". Kylie was the headliner in that year's ΒιΆΉΤΌΕΔ Radio 2 Live in Hyde Park, performing in front of 50,000 music lovers with songs from her latest albums and also classic hits from across her career. Who can forget her impromptu duet with Jason Donovan singing "Especially For You" in front of a delighted crowd?
To date Kylie has achieved 34 UK top 10 singles, including 7 UK number ones and sold over 80 million records. Her next two chosen tracks come from Dee-Lite and James Bay.
Ken also has the daily love song, record and album of the week plus another round of PopMaster. If you'd like to get in touch with the show email Ken.Bruce@bbc.co.uk
