This is the time of year when Art Schools showcase student’s work and on Tuesday, Janice will be finding out how art colleges have risen to the challenge of adapting their physical degree shows to deliver online. We hear from art critic Jan Patience who has seen the Glasgow School of Art show, Hayley Irving, a student from Duncan of Jordanstone College of Art and Design and Mal Burkinshaw, Programme Director of Fashion at Edinburgh College of Art.
Terri White is Editor-in-Chief of Empire magazine and will chat to Janice about her β€œraw and unflinchingly honest” memoir β€˜Coming Undone’. Growing up in a household of poverty, Terri endured sexual and physical abuse and her success defied all expectations.
Our Make a Difference interview on Tuesday is with Sculptor Mark Coreth who has teamed up with Greyfriars Kirk to develop a DIY sculpture pack enabling people to make their own β€˜Lockdown Bobbie’ at home.
We hear from Director Alasdair Satchel about his project β€˜Islands in Film’ which documents life under lockdown for one week on the islands of Mull, Iona, Ulva and Gometra using footage provided by 75 locals.
