Grant Stott will be in conversation with Warren McIntyre front man and main man with, Glasgow group STARRY SKIES and showcasing their brand new single Here Comes The Moon -a full tempo garage pop love song produced by Matt Harvey and mastered by producer Kramer. (The track is a thank you tribute to the Stooges, Mama’s and Papas and pop rock god David Bowie!)
He will also hear about the new historical drama, FANNY LYE DELIVER’D, from the writer and director Thomas Clay and starring an incredible cast of Maxine Peake, Charles Dance, Freddie Fox and Tanya Reynolds; on a remote 17th century farm, the arrival of two mysterious strangers transforms the life of 'Puritan huswife' Fanny Lye. (It will be released across digital platforms on 26th June 2020.)
Grant will also be hosting our Streaming Film Review Hour when we’ll hear about Eurovision which stars Will Ferrell and Rachel McAdams as Lars and Sigrit, two musicians with a shared dream of taking their group Fire Saga all the way to Eurovision: the world’s biggest song competition.
The Stuart Hall Project is also under review –John Akomfrah’s acclaimed documentary following Jamaican-born intellectual Stuart Hall, exploring memory, identity and scholarly impulse.…and a contemporary classic – Big Night – the great ‘food movie’ starring Isabella Rossellini, and Stanley Tucci; its a 1996 film about an Italian restaurant in the 1950s,
