Mister Maker makes a video call to his CBeebies friend Dodge the Dog. After some comedic confusion, Mister Maker shows Dodge how to make an silly self-portrait using ordinary materials from around the house and his own face as inspiration.

Later on, with the Shapes fast asleep, it is left to Mister Maker to recreate the Shape dance on his own at home. This prompts Mister Maker to make his very own Shape. Using an old cardboard box, paint, glue and plastic bottle tops, Mister Maker makes a model of his friend Square. Finally, Mister Maker remembers all the fun he has had throughout the day.
