Music for restoration

Elizabeth Alker with brand new tracks from Owen Pallett and Julianna Barwick, plus music created by artists in quarantine including pianist and composer Belle Chen.

Elizabeth Alker with music that defies classification. This week there's brand new music from Julianna Barwick, Owen Pallett and James Blake. We also have an exclusive composition from Belle Chen written in quarantine, and there's updates on exciting musical initiatives taking place during these unusual times including a remix project from Grimes, and an opportunity for artists and composers from the Huddersfield Contemporary Music Festival.

Unclassified is a late night listening party, a place for curious ears to congregate, disconnect from all other devices and get lost in some soothing, serene and strange new sounds. It's a home for composers whose work cannot easily be categorised, artists who are as comfortable in a grimy basement venue as they are in a prestigious concert hall.
