Rev'd Cathy Gale

Led by the Rev'd Cathy Gale, a minister in the Cardiff Methodist Circuit

A service led at home by the Revd Cathy Gale, a Minister in the Cardiff Methodist Church. As well as marking the Sunday after Ascension, Cathy Gale considers the significance in these difficult times, of ‘Aldersgate Sunday’ which falls the 24th May. It was on that date that John Wesley, Co-founder of the Methodist Church went very unwillingly to a bible study meeting being held in Aldersgate St in London. During the service, we hear what happened, and Cathy ponders on the message for us now in a locked-down and anxious world. Hymns include ‘Rejoice the Lord is King’, ‘The head that once was crowned with thorns’ and ‘Blessed Assurance’.
