Antibody Tests; Fruit Picking; Empty Castles
The lonely life looking after a castle in Herefordshire - we'll visit a National Trust property that's empty at the moment.
The government has announced it will be making new antibody tests available on the NHS. These are the ones which tell you if you’ve ever had Covid-19. Similar tests were already available to buy online, and we’ve been speaking to some of the people who’ve bought them. How much do they cost? What can they really tell you? And how should you behave if you’re told you’ve had the disease?
The government wants to get British people employed on farms as fruit pickers this year. It's because there's a shortage of foreign farm workers who haven't been able get into the UK due to travel restrictions introduced to stop the spread of coronavirus. Up to forty thousand fruit pickers will be needed over the next few months. But how do farmers feel about the campaign, and how's it been going so far?
Plus, thousands of tourist attractions around the UK are standing empty at the moment. But a lot of work is going on behind the scenes to prepare for when they can reopen their doors. The National Trust has more than 500 historic houses, castles, gardens and parks. We'll go behind the scenes at Croft Castle in Herefordshire with Ian Grafton - the man who's in charge of looking after it and getting it ready to reopen.
