Reverend Kate Bottley and Jason Mohammad talk to the writer Matt Haig ahead of Mental Health awareness week.

Reverend Kate Bottley and Jason Mohammad present uplifting stories about life, love and modern spirituality, alongside a great soundtrack for your Sunday morning.

Their guest is Matt Haig, whose best-selling memoir 'Reasons To Stay Alive' documented his personal struggle with depression and helped many people managing their own mental health conditions. He writes novels for children and adults and his social media feeds offer daily, sometimes hourly, words of solidarity and kindness to anyone who needs them.

Ahead of Mental Health awareness week, Matt reflects on the effect of this period of anxiety on our health, his passion for how books and the arts can save us, and his thoughts for how can all look after ourselves, and those around us, better.
