Adele and PopMaster

Adele chooses the Tracks of My Years back in 2011 following the release of her second album '21'. There's the daily love song and another round of PopMaster.

Adele chooses the Tracks of My Years with Ken back in 2011 following the release of her second album '21', which became the fourth biggest selling album of all time and was the longest-running number 1 album by a female solo artist in the UK and America.

London born Adele won the Βι¶ΉΤΌΕΔ Sound of 2008 poll and released her debut album '19' that year. She is one of the most successful artists of the 21st Century. Her award shelf features nine Brits, an Oscar, a Golden Globe and fifteen Grammy Awards. Following her debut single 'Chasing Pavements' were a string of top ten chart hits including a cover of Bob Dylan's 'Make You Feel My Love', but her first number 1 came in 2011 with the release of 'Someone Like You'.

Adele's Wednesday selection of tunes for the week in 2011 come from Etta James and Queen.

In the subsequent years Adele released her third album '25' in 2015 which is the fastest-selling album of all time and recorded the James Bond theme 'Skyfall' for the film's 2012 release. Her fourth album is due out later this year.

Ken also has the daily love song, record and album of the week plus another round of PopMaster. If you'd like to get in touch with the show email Ken.Bruce@bbc.co.uk
