Nick Mason, the Pink Floyd drummer and motor car enthusiast, is picking his Tracks of My Years, with songs from The Jimi Hendrix Experience and Joe Brown.
Nick was born in Birmingham and grew up in Hampstead, London. He went to University at Regent Street Polytechnic, where he met Roger Waters, Bob Klose and Richard Wright, to form Pink Floyd's predecessor, 'Sigma 6'.
Nick is best known for being the only constant member of the rock group Pink Floyd. It's estimated that the band have sold roughly 250 million records worldwide. Nick co-wrote some of the band's most iconic tracks, including 'Time', 'Echoes' and 'One of These Days'.
Nick is also known for his love of motor racing. Multiple documentaries have been made about this hobby of his, as well as his classic car collection.
In 2018 Nick formed 'Nick Mason's Saucerful of Secrets', and on 18th September the band will be releasing 'Nick Mason's Saucerful Of Secrets Live At The Roundhouse', a live recording of the band's sold-out shows at the legendary London venue in May 2019. The recording will be available on CD, DVD, double vinyl and Blu-Ray.
Ken's got another round of the legendary PopMaster music quiz and your dedications with today's love song.
There's also the record and album of the week.
